Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground lamb. Add half of the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix until everything is well combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the meat mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.
- 4
Heat the Pomodoro Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, heat the pomodoro sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the simmering pomodoro sauce and let them cook together for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top, alongside slices of focaccia bread.
