Vegetables
Bleu Cheese Dip
Method
Preparing the Vegetables
- 1
Wash and Cut the Vegetables
Thoroughly wash all the vegetables under cold running water. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks. Chop the celery into sticks of similar size. Slice the cucumbers into rounds or sticks, depending on your preference. Cut the bell peppers into strips. Finally, rinse the cherry tomatoes and set aside.
- 2
Arrange the Vegetables
Once cut, arrange the vegetables on a large platter in a visually appealing manner. You can group them by type or create a rainbow effect with the colors.
Making the Bleu Cheese Dip
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the bleu cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend until smooth.
- 4
Add Flavorings
Stir in the lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Adjust the seasoning to your taste. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add a small amount of milk or more sour cream.
- 5
Chill the Dip
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 6
Serve the Crudités and Dip
Once the dip is chilled, serve the vegetable platter alongside the bleu cheese dip. Encourage guests to enjoy the fresh vegetables with the creamy dip.
