Spicy Orange Ginger Glaze
Method
Preparing the Calamari

Clean the Calamari
If using whole calamari, clean and slice into rings. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cherry peppers and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Add Diced Tomatoes
Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Making the Spicy Orange Ginger Glaze

Combine Glaze Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, grated ginger, honey, and sriracha. Whisk together until smooth.

Thicken the Glaze
In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the glaze thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Cooking the Calamari

Cook the Calamari
In the skillet with the cherry peppers and tomatoes, push the vegetables to the side and add the seasoned calamari. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the calamari is opaque and cooked through.

Add the Glaze
Pour the spicy orange ginger glaze over the calamari and vegetables. Toss gently to combine and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
Serving

Plate the Dish
