Method

Pulled Pork Sandwich Quarters

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Shoulder

Rub the pork shoulder with salt and pepper. Place it in a slow cooker.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Add BBQ sauce to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Mix it back with the BBQ sauce.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Serve the pulled pork on sandwich buns topped with coleslaw.

BBQ Brisket

  1. 5

    Season the Brisket

Rub the brisket with BBQ rub evenly on all sides.

  2. 6

    Cook the Brisket

Place the brisket in a smoker or oven at 225°F (107°C) for 8-10 hours, adding beef broth halfway through cooking.

  3. 7

    Rest and Slice

Once cooked, allow the brisket to rest for 30 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Sweet Potato Fries

  1. 8

    Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Peel and cut sweet potatoes into fries.

  2. 9

    Season the Fries

Toss sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, and paprika.

  3. 10

    Bake the Fries

Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.

Macaroni & Cheese Wedges

  1. 11

    Cook the Macaroni

Boil water in a large pot and cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.

  2. 12

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened, then stir in cheddar cheese until melted.

  3. 13

    Combine and Bake

In a bowl, combine cooked macaroni with cheese sauce and beaten eggs. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden.

  4. 14

    Cut into Wedges

Let cool slightly before cutting into wedges to serve.
