Method
Chicken Fingers Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, add flour in one, whisk together egg and milk in the second, and place bread crumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third.
- 3
Coat Chicken Strips
Dip each chicken strip into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat in the bread crumbs. Ensure they are well-coated.
Cooking the Chicken Fingers
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place breaded chicken strips into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain Excess Oil
Remove the chicken fingers from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serving Suggestions

Serve the chicken fingers hot with BBQ, Buffalo, or Teriyaki sauce on the side for dipping according to your taste.
