Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Vodka

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and vodka into the skillet. Stir and let simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 4

    Incorporate Heavy Cream

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Mix well until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  4. 5

    Add Seafood

Add the shrimp and lobster meat to the sauce. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

  5. 6

    Season the Sauce

Stir in the chopped fresh basil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Allow to simmer for another 2 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  1. 7

    Mix Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat the noodles evenly with the shrimp and lobster vodka sauce.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the pasta in bowls, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and additional fresh basil if desired.
