Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt to the boiling water and then add the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Drain the Pasta
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside. Do not rinse.
Seafood Preparation
- 3
Cook the Seafood
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4
Add Shrimp and Calamari
Add the shrimp and calamari to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink.
- 5
Add Mussels
Next, add the mussels and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Pour in the white wine and cover. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mussels open up.
Combine and Serve
- 6
Combine Pasta and Seafood
Once the seafood is cooked, add the drained spaghetti to the skillet. Toss everything together gently to combine.
- 7
Season the Pasta
Add chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss again to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- 8
