Method

Preparing the Octopus

  1. 1

    Clean and Prepare the Octopus

Rinse the octopus under cold water. Remove the beak and intestines if not already done by your fishmonger.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Octopus

In a large bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the octopus to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling the Octopus

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Octopus

Place the marinated octopus on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until charred and tender. The tentacles should slightly curl.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 5

    Fry the French Fries

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot. Fry the French fries until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  2. 6

    Fry the Zucchini

Slice zucchini into thin rounds. Heat oil in a pan and fry the zucchini until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  3. 7

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Poke holes in the potatoes with a fork and bake for about 45-60 minutes or until soft.
