Lobster

Method

Prepare Lobster

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your broiler to high heat.

  2. 2

    Prepare Lobster Tails

Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, exposing the meat while keeping the tail intact. Remove any intestinal vein if visible.

  3. 3

    Make Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, melt the butter. Add minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Apply Garlic Butter

Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.

Broil Lobster

  1. 5

    Broil Lobster

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, cut side up. Broil for about 8-10 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through, basting with remaining garlic butter halfway through.

Prepare Sides

  1. 6

    Prepare French Fries

If using frozen French fries, follow package instructions for frying or baking. If making from scratch, cut potatoes into sticks, toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes until crispy.

  2. 7

    Prepare Fried Zucchini

Toss sliced zucchini with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Fry in a pan over medium heat until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  3. 8

    Bake Potatoes

For baked potatoes, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and poke holes in the potatoes, rub with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Once the lobster is cooked and sides are ready, plate the lobster tails alongside your choice of French fries, fried zucchini, or baked potatoes.

  2. 10

    Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your garlic broiled lobster!
