Method

Prepare the Meat

  1. 1

    Cook Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Heat Shredded Chicken

In a separate pot, heat the shredded chicken over low heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Assemble the Nachos

  1. 3

    Layer the Base

On a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips evenly to form a base.

  2. 4

    Add Meat and Beans

Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef and warmed shredded chicken over the tortilla chips. Spoon the refried pinto beans on top.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese Dip

Pour the cheese dip generously over the layered nachos.

Bake and Finish

  1. 6

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the nachos in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese dip is bubbly and slightly golden.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

Remove from the oven. Top the nachos with shredded lettuce and dollops of sour cream.
