Method

For the Tacos

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, stirring frequently to break up the meat.

  2. 2

    Add Seasoning

Once the beef is cooked, drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and stir in 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Heat Tortillas

In a separate pan, heat the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm.

  4. 4

    Assemble Tacos

Fill each tortilla with a portion of the beef mixture, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños.

For the Guacamole

  1. 5

    Prepare Avocados

Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

  2. 6

    Mash Avocados

Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth; leave some chunks for texture.

  3. 7

    Mix Ingredients

Add lime juice, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and salt to the mashed avocados. Mix well until combined.

For the Salsa

  1. 8

    Chop Ingredients

Finely dice the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeños.

  2. 9

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, red onion, fresh cilantro, lime juice, salt, and jalapeños. Stir well.

  3. 10

    Let it Rest

Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
