Crabby Patty Ingredients
Method
Crabby Patty Directions
Prepare the Crab Cakes
In a large bowl, gently mix the crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, green onions, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg until well combined. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
Chill the Patties
Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
Make the Apple Cider Slaw
In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss until well mixed and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the Dill Pickle Aioli
In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, diced dill pickles, minced garlic, and chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Assemble the Crabby Patty
On the bottom half of each brioche bun, place a crab cake, top with apple cider slaw, and drizzle with dill pickle aioli. Cover with the top half of the bun.
Serve
Serve the crabby patties with your choice of fries or a side salad.
