Preparation Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Mix Everything Together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Prepare the Sundae
Once the brownies have cooled slightly, cut them into squares. Serve warm topped with your choice of house ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream.
