Dip each mozzarella stick first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet.

Refrigerate the coated mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes to help the coating adhere better during frying.
4. Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
