Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and add the tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes depending on desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Sweetener

If you prefer sweet tea, add your choice of sweetener (sugar, honey, agave syrup, or stevia) while the tea is still warm. Stir well until fully dissolved.

  2. 5

    Adjust Sweetness

Taste the tea and adjust the sweetness according to your preference, adding more sweetener if desired.

Serving Suggestions

  1. 6

    Add Optional Ingredients

For added flavor, you can add lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, or a splash of milk or cream to your tea.

  2. 7

    Serve Hot or Cold

You can serve the tea hot immediately after preparation or let it cool and refrigerate it for iced tea. Serve over ice if desired.
