Chicken Marinade

Sides

Method

Prepare Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, black pepper, and salt. Rub this spice mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. Drizzle with olive oil and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Place the marinated chicken on the grill or skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and has a blackened crust. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Prepare Sides

  1. 4

    Cook Green Beans

In a pot of boiling water, add the fresh green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and return to the pot.

  2. 5

    Season Green Beans

Add butter, salt, and black pepper to the green beans in the pot. Toss to coat and keep warm until serving.

  3. 6

    Prepare Corn on the Cob

While the chicken and green beans are cooking, bring another pot of water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove from water, let cool slightly, then serve with butter and seasoning.
