Method

Brewing Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the water, gently squeezing them to extract additional flavor.

Sweetening (Optional)

  1. 4

    Add Sweeteners

If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the hot tea and stir until fully dissolved. For alternative sweetening, add honey or stevia to taste.

Flavoring (Optional)

  1. 5

    Flavor Your Tea

If desired, add lemon slices and fresh mint leaves to the tea for added flavor. Stir gently to combine.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Pour the tea into cups or a pitcher. Serve hot or allow it to cool and serve over ice for iced tea.
