Thaw the crawfish tails if they are frozen. Drain and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Make the Breading Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Breading the Crawfish
Dip each crawfish tail into the wet mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Then, dredge in the dry mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Fry the Crawfish
Carefully add the breaded crawfish tails to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.

Drain and Serve
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried crawfish to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with ranch dressing or cocktail sauce.
