Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Soak the Cedar Plank

Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1-2 hours before grilling to prevent it from catching fire.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to a medium heat setting, around 350°F (175°C).

Cooking the Salmon

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 4

    Place Salmon on Cedar Plank

Once the cedar plank is soaked and the grill is preheated, place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the cedar plank.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Place the cedar plank on the grill and close the lid. Grill the salmon for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 7

    Add Lemon and Parsley

Stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and salt. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 8

    Serve

Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the grilled salmon before serving.
