Soak the Cedar Plank
Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1-2 hours before grilling to prevent it from catching fire.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to a medium heat setting, around 350°F (175°C).
Cooking the Salmon

Prepare the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Place Salmon on Cedar Plank
Once the cedar plank is soaked and the grill is preheated, place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the cedar plank.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Lemon and Parsley
Stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and salt. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
