Fish Fillet

Voodoo Cream Sauce

Method

Preparing the Fish Fillet

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fillets

Drizzle olive oil over the catch of the day fillets. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fillets

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from grill and keep warm.

Cooking the Gulf Shrimp

  1. 3

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the gulf shrimp, lemon juice, paprika, and salt. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and is cooked through. Set aside.

Making the Voodoo Cream Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth. Add cajun seasoning and hot sauce, stirring well. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in chopped green onions before serving.

Plating the Dish

  1. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, place a grilled fish fillet, top with sautéed gulf shrimp, and generously drizzle with voodoo cream sauce. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
