Preparing the Blackened Chicken

Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with blackening seasoning evenly on both sides.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Chicken
Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a blackened crust. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
Preparing the Primavera

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Add the Veggies
Chop the bell peppers, zucchini, and carrot into thin strips. Add them to the skillet along with the halved cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked fettuccini to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss gently to combine. Grate the blackened chicken and fold it into the pasta mixture.

Plate the Blackened Chicken Primavera, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving. Enjoy!
