Stuffed Shells

Method

Stuffed Shells Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta Shells

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Shells

Take each cooked pasta shell and fill it with the seafood filling. Arrange the stuffed shells in a greased baking dish.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 5

    Combine and Bake

Pour the Alfredo sauce evenly over the stuffed shells in the baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

  2. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
