Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This ensures that the potatoes will roast properly and become crispy.
- 2
Wash and Cut the Potatoes
Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water. Cut them into evenly sized cubes, about 1 to 1.5 inches in size for even cooking.
- 3
Prepare the Garlic
Peel the garlic cloves and crush them gently with the side of a knife to release their flavor.
- 4
Chop the Rosemary
Finely chop the fresh rosemary leaves to release their aromatic oils.
Mixing
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed potatoes, crushed garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated.
Roasting
- 6
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the coated potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 7
Roast in Oven
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Toss halfway through for even roasting.
Serving
- 8
Serve Hot
Once roasted, remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve them hot as a delicious side dish.
