Salmon

Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

  3. 3

Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish skin-side down.

  4. 4

Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets.

  5. 5

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over the fillets.

  6. 6

Pour lemon juice over the salmon for added flavor.

  7. 7

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce

  1. 8

While the salmon is baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. 9

Add minced garlic cloves (finely chopped) to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 10

Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.

  4. 11

Add lemon zest, salt, and black pepper to the sauce, stirring well.

  5. 12

Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Serving

  1. 13

Once the salmon is done baking, remove it from the oven.

  2. 14

Serve the salmon fillets hot, drizzled with the lemon garlic cream sauce.

  3. 15

    Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
