Method

Prepare the Marinade

1

Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.

2

Marinate the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Cook the Ribeye

3

Prepare the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.

4

Season the Steak

Remove the ribeye steaks from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

5

Cook the Steaks

Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side for medium-rare, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side. Adjust the cooking time to your desired doneness.

6

Rest the Steaks

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Prepare Optional Sides

7

Cook Asparagus

While the steaks are resting, you can steam or sauté the asparagus in olive oil until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

8

Prepare Mashed Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes, then drain and mash with butter and milk to your desired consistency.

Serve

9

Plate the Dish

Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain and serve alongside the asparagus and mashed potatoes. Enjoy your Sure Store Ribeye!
