Soup du Jour (Tomato Basil Soup)

Main Course (Grilled Chicken with Vegetables)

Method

Soup du Jour (Tomato Basil Soup)

  1. 1

    Cook the Base

In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Broth

Stir in crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Blend and Season

Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth. Stir in chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Quiora’s House Salad

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta cheese.

  2. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.

  3. 6

    Combine and Serve

Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.

Main Course (Grilled Chicken with Vegetables)

  1. 7

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken breasts in the mixture and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 8

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

  3. 9

    Grill the Vegetables

Toss assorted vegetables in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill alongside chicken until tender.

Lychee Rose Torta

  1. 10

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, rose water, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

  2. 11

    Add Lychee

Fold in the lychee fruit into the cream cheese mixture.

  3. 12

    Assemble the Torta

Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

  4. 13

    Serve

Top with whipped cream before serving the Lychee Rose Torta.
