Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- 2
Slice the Bread
Cut the challah bread into thick slices, approximately 1 inch thick, to ensure they soak up the egg mixture without falling apart.
Cooking
- 3
Soak the Bread
Dip each slice of challah bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10-15 seconds on each side, until well coated.
- 4
Cook the French Toast
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the soaked challah slices onto the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- 5
Plate the French Toast
Once cooked, transfer the French toast to plates. Spread a generous layer of Nutella® on top of each slice.
- 6
Add Strawberries
Slice fresh strawberries and arrange them on top of the Nutella® covered French toast. Dust with powdered sugar to finish.
