Prime Rib Preparation

Season the Roast
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). In a small bowl, mix the black pepper, rosemary, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the prime rib roast.

Roasting
Place the seasoned roast in a roasting pan and roast for 20 minutes. Then, reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue roasting for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare. Let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.

Whip the Potatoes
In a mixing bowl, combine the drained potatoes, roasted garlic, butter, heavy cream, and salt. Mash and whip until smooth and creamy.

Bake Yorkshire Pudding
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Pour vegetable oil into a muffin tin and place in the oven until the oil is very hot. Carefully pour the batter into the hot oil-filled muffin cups and bake for about 20 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
