Pulled Pork Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

In a large bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and cider vinegar. Pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce over the top. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Shred the pork using two forks and return it to the slow cooker. Mix in the remaining BBQ sauce.

  4. 4

    Serve

Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Serve the pulled pork on the buns and top with coleslaw if using.
