Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cheese
Take the mozzarella cheese sticks out of the packaging and freeze them for at least 30 minutes. This helps keep them intact during frying.

Double Bread (Optional)
For extra crunch, you can repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process a second time after the first coating.
Frying
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to check the temperature.
- 6
Fry the Mozzarella Sticks
Carefully place a few breaded mozzarella sticks into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 7
Repeat
Continue frying the remaining mozzarella sticks in batches until all are cooked.

Serve with Dipping Sauces
Arrange the fried mozzarella sticks on a serving platter and serve with marinara sauce and ranch dressing for dipping.
