Method
Preparation of Fries
- 1
Prepare the French Fries
Preheat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot (around 350°F or 175°C), carefully add the frozen French fries in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.
- 2
Fry the Potatoes
Fry the French fries for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
Assembly
- 3
Layer the Fries
Place the hot fries in a large serving dish or on a platter, spreading them out evenly.
- 4
Add the Queso
Pour the warm queso cheese sauce generously over the fries, ensuring they are well-covered.
- 5
Add the Toppings
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the queso, followed by dollops of sour cream. Finally, garnish with sliced green onions.
