Beef Patty

Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cracked black peppercorns, and salt. Mix gently until just combined; do not overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 6

    Cook Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Optionally, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a tomato slice. Add the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar cheese on top.

  3. 9

    Add Toppings

Top with crispy bacon strips, chunky bleu cheese crumbles, and crispy onion strings. Finally, place the top half of the bun on the burger.
