Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

Soak the Wood Chips
Soak the wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes before smoking to prevent them from burning too quickly.

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

Add Wood Chips
Once the smoker is preheated, drain the wood chips and add them to the smoker box or directly on the coals.

Smoke the Wings
Place the wings on the smoker grate and smoke for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Toss in Sauce
Once cooked, remove the wings from the smoker and toss them in your sauce of choice.
