Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Hot Dogs
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the all-beef hot dogs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are heated through and have grill marks.
- 2
Toast the Buns
During the last couple of minutes of cooking the hot dogs, place the hot dog buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast them lightly for 1-2 minutes until they are golden brown.
Assembling the Pub Wiener
- 3
Fill the Buns
Once the hot dogs are cooked and the buns are toasted, place one hot dog inside each bun.
- 4
Add Toppings
Top each hot dog with a generous amount of chopped onions, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapeños, and diced tomatoes as desired.
- 5
Finish with Mustard
Drizzle Boetje's stone ground mustard over the toppings for an extra kick of flavor.
