Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture over the chicken breasts.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
- 3
Slice the Chicken
Once the chicken is rested, slice it into thin strips.
Vegetables and Toppings
- 4
Prepare the Vegetables
While the chicken is grilling, slice the carrots and cucumbers thinly and set them aside.
- 5
Prepare the Lettuce
Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly and pat them dry. These will serve as the wraps.
- 6
Prepare Wonton Strips
If using pre-packaged fried wonton strips, measure out 1 cup. If making from scratch, fry wonton wrappers in hot oil until golden and crispy.
Dressing
- 7
Make the Sesame Lime Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sesame seeds until well combined.
Peanut Sauce
- 8
Prepare the Peanut Sauce
In a separate bowl, mix together creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, water, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until smooth and well combined.
