Burger Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ground Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Jalapeño Bacon

In a skillet, cook the jalapeño bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Slice the Jalapeños

While the bacon is cooking, slice the fresh jalapeños into rings. Remove seeds for less heat if desired.

  3. 5

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the burger patties, place a slice of pepper Jack cheese on each patty. Cover to melt the cheese.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom half of each bun, place a burger patty with melted cheese, followed by jalapeño bacon, sliced jalapeños, and drizzle with Buffalo sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
