Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breast tenders dry with paper towels. This helps the coating stick better.
- 2
Coating
- 3
Coat the Chicken
First, dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Cooking
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- 5
Fry the Chicken Strips
Carefully place the coated chicken tenders in the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- 6
Drain the Chicken
Once cooked, transfer the chicken strips to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serving
