Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Bacon Dill Aioli

  1. 4

    Make the Aioli

In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, chopped dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 5

    Chill the Aioli

Cover the aioli and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Burger Assembly

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread a generous amount of the bacon dill aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked patty on top, followed by the top half of the bun.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the burgers with pickle spears on the side, a sprinkle of celery salt, and a dollop of mustard.
