Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinade the Wings

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, honey, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and cumin. Whisk the mixture until well combined. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and ensure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help the wings become crispy.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, and place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet. This will allow the heat to circulate around the wings, making them crispy.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Bake the Wings

Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  2. 5

    Prepare Cilantro Garnish

While the wings are baking, finely chop the fresh cilantro. Set aside for garnishing the wings once they are done.

  3. 6

    Serve

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Transfer the wings to a serving platter, drizzle with any remaining marinade if desired, and sprinkle the chopped cilantro on top. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
