Preparation
- 1
Chill the Sparkling Wine
Place the bottle of sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.
- 2
Prepare the Orange Juice
If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and juice them to yield approximately 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain to remove any pulp if desired.
- 3
Prepare Glasses
Select champagne flutes or other suitable glasses for serving the mimosas. You may chill the glasses in the refrigerator for a few minutes for an extra refreshing experience.
Mixing
- 4
Pour Orange Juice
Pour 1 part fresh orange juice into each glass, filling it about halfway.
- 5
Add Sparkling Wine
Gently top the orange juice with 1 part chilled sparkling wine, pouring slowly to prevent excessive fizzing.
- 6
Garnish
Add a slice of orange on the rim of each glass for garnish, if desired.
