Beef Patties

Slider Assembly

Method

Beef Patties Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a patty that is approximately 3 oz in weight. You should have about 5-6 patties.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties onto the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

If using cheese, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

Slider Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns in half horizontally.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty (with melted cheese if using). Then add a slice of tomato, a few pickles, and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the sliders warm with extra condiments on the side.
