Burger Patties

Bacon & Ranch Dusted Tots

Smoked Maple Bacon Bourbon Dip

Method

Prepare the Patties

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, combine the Angus ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, making a small indent in the center of each to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding the cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Prepare the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the applewood bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

  2. 4

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry sunny side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

Prepare the Tots

  1. 5

    Cook the Tater Tots

Bake or fry the frozen tater tots according to package instructions until crispy and golden.

  2. 6

    Season the Tots

Once cooked, remove from heat and toss the tater tots with ranch seasoning and crumbled bacon.

Prepare the Smoked Maple Bacon Bourbon Dip

  1. 7

    Make the Dip

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, and chopped cooked bacon. Mix until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate until serving.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Build the Burger

On a burger bun, layer the Angus patties with melted cheddar, shaved raw onion, whole grain IPA mustard, pickles, crispy bacon, and the sunny side up egg.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the burger with bacon and ranch dusted tater tots on the side and a bowl of smoked maple bacon bourbon dip for dipping.
