Method
Prepare the Burger Patties

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to medium-high and cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding the cheddar cheese slice on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Mix the Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish. Stir until well mixed.
Assemble the Burger

Build the Burger
Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom half of each bun, spread a portion of the house sauce. Add the lettuce leaves, cooked burger patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and slices of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
