Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Bucatini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bucatini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the roasted garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the Calabrian chili paste and cook for another minute.
- 3
Add Tomatoes and Basil
Add the crushed tomatoes along with the salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Stir in the fresh basil leaves.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained bucatini to the skillet and toss to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- 5
Serve
Plate the bucatini and top with pieces of Di Stefano Burrata. Garnish with additional basil if desired.
