Our very own unique buttermilk pancakes cooked with chocolate chips and topped with banana whipped cream and a side of 100% maple syrup. Banana whipped cream made in house. Comes in a 3 stack.

Pancake Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar until well combined.

Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix; small lumps are okay.

Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Cook Pancakes
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 more minutes.

Stack Pancakes
Once cooked, stack the pancakes in groups of three on a plate.
Banana Whipped Cream Preparation

Prepare the Banana
Peel and slice the banana. Place slices in a bowl.

Whip Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Ingredients
Add the sliced banana, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the whipped cream. Continue whipping until combined and fluffy.

Top Pancakes
Spoon the banana whipped cream generously over the stacked pancakes.

Serve the pancakes warm with a side of 100% maple syrup for drizzling.
