    Measure Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients including black tea leaves, dried lavender buds, and bergamot oil. Ensure everything is ready for brewing.

  2. 2

    Heat Water

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. This will be used to brew the tea.

Brewing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a teapot or a heatproof container, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and 1 tablespoon of dried lavender buds.

  2. 4

    Add Boiling Water

Once the water has boiled, carefully pour it over the tea and lavender mixture in the teapot.

  3. 5

    Steep

Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes to extract the flavors from the tea leaves and lavender.

  4. 6

    Add Bergamot Oil

After steeping, add 3 drops of bergamot oil to the tea for that distinctive Earl Grey flavor.

Serving

  1. 7
