Preparation

  1. 1

    Measure Ingredients

Gather the green tea leaves and dried jasmine flowers. Measure 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves and 1 teaspoon of dried jasmine flowers.

  2. 2

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of fresh water to a boil. For optimal flavor, avoid using water that has been previously boiled.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 2 minutes to reach the ideal temperature (around 175°F or 80°C). Add the measured green tea leaves and dried jasmine flowers to a teapot or infuser.

  4. 4

    Pour Water

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and jasmine flowers in the teapot or infuser.

  5. 5

    Steep Time

Allow the tea to steep for about 2-3 minutes. Adjust steeping time based on your taste preference—longer steeping will result in a stronger flavor.

  6. 6

    Strain and Serve

After steeping, strain the tea into cups to remove the leaves and flowers. Serve hot and enjoy!
