Boil the Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Add Chamomile Flowers
Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of chamomile flowers to the water.

Steep the Tea
Cover the saucepan with a lid and let the chamomile flowers steep in the hot water for about 5 minutes.

Strain the Tea
After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the tea into a teapot or directly into cups, separating the chamomile flowers from the liquid.

Add Optional Ingredients
If desired, stir in 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for added flavor. Adjust to taste.

Serve
Pour the chamomile tea into cups and enjoy it warm. You can also chill it in the refrigerator for iced chamomile tea.
