Cooking Instructions
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels. Leave some bacon fat in the skillet.
Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet with the onions and garlic. Stir in the cooked bacon, frozen peas, and heavy cream. Mix well.
Add Cheese and Season
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper if desired.
