Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring continuously. Gradually add milk, stirring until the mixture is smooth and thickened.

  3. 3

    Add the Cheeses

Stir in the cream cheese, gouda, cheddar, and white American cheese until fully melted and combined. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until all the pasta is well coated.

  5. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Loaded Mac & Cheese!
